TUBERCULOSIS

▪️This is a common communicable disease that affects the lower respiratory tract and is caused by a bacteria .It is transmitted from man to man through airborne droplets.>

▪️The bacteria can remain viable for as long as 8 months upon entering the air when a patient coughs😷 That's so dangerous and it's an automatic cause of alarm and caution whenever we're around TB patients- 😷>

▪️The bacteria infects the lungs and thereafter spread systematically. Some of its symptoms include chronic cough that lasts for more than three weeks, chest pains, low grade fever, night sweats, sputum and anorexia.>
